Helsinki City Marathon

The Helsinki City Marathon is an annual marathon held in Helsinki, Finland. It was established in 1981 and it used to held in August with 1,574 runners.
but has now changed in May under the day called Helsinki City Running Day.
Helsinki City Run is the largest and most international half marathon event in Finland with over 10 000 runners representing 68 nationalities.
In 2019 Helsinki City Run takes place on May 18th.  that is a great  experience if have chance to to and visit the Finland's most popular running event!
The typical race temperatures have been between 18 and 22 °C and the race time limit is 6 hours.Each runner finishing within 6 hours receives a Helsinki City Marathon finisher medal. Best male and female runner will receive special prize and the possession of the trophy.
The course starts near the statue of Paavo Nurmi and finishes at the Olympic Stadium. Various parks, miles of Baltic Sea coastline, and the Helsinki City centre are all located along the route.
